Restaurant use case

A menu your guests
scan, not squint at.

Link your menu to a single branded QR code on every table. Change a price or 86 a dish from your phone and the code on the table updates instantly — no reprints, no stickers over stickers.

How it works

Live in three steps.

1

Point it at your menu

Link to a PDF, your website menu, or a hosted page — whatever you already have works.

2

Design the table code

Match your brand in the Studio with colors, logo and frames so the code looks like part of the table, not a parking ticket.

3

Update anytime

Seasonal specials, new prices, a sold-out item — edit the destination and every printed code follows along.

Why dynamic beats a printed QR menu

The first wave of restaurant QR menus had a fatal flaw: the code pointed at a fixed file, so any change meant reprinting every table tent. A dynamic QR code fixes that. The code stays the same forever; the menu behind it is yours to change whenever you want.

Run a brunch menu until 2pm and a dinner menu after, swap in a holiday special, or pull a dish the moment the kitchen runs out — all from your phone, all without touching the physical code.

Make it look like your restaurant, not a tech demo

A grey square of pixels next to candlelight and linen looks wrong. The Studio lets you set your brand colors, drop in your logo, round the dots and add a tasteful frame with a 'Scan for menu' caption — so the code feels designed, not bolted on.

Codes stay scannable even with heavy branding thanks to high error-correction, so you don't have to choose between looks and function.

See what your guests actually do

With scan analytics you can see how many guests scan, at what times, and on which days. That tells you real things: whether the lunch rush actually uses the QR menu, whether the patio tables convert differently from the bar, whether a new sign by the door helps.

Pair the menu code with a Wi-Fi code and a review code and you've covered the three things every guest wants — connect, browse, and (if you nudge them) leave a 5★ review.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I create a QR code menu for free?

Upload or link your menu, generate a code in QRs.bd, brand it in the Studio, and download it to print on table tents or stickers. A static menu code is free; dynamic codes that you can update without reprinting are on Pro.

Can I update the menu without reprinting the QR code?

Yes — that's the point of a dynamic QR code. The printed code never changes; you edit the menu it points to from your phone and every table updates instantly.

What should my QR code menu link to?

A hosted menu page works best because it loads fast and looks good on mobile, but a PDF or your existing website menu works fine too.

Will the code still scan if I add my logo and colors?

Yes. QRs.bd uses high error-correction so branded codes stay reliable. We recommend keeping good contrast between the dots and background.

Can I track how many guests scan the menu?

Yes, in real time — by day, hour, device and approximate location, so you can compare sections of the restaurant or different dayparts.
