Reviews use case

A QR code that turns
scans into 5★ reviews.

Print one code on a receipt, table tent or card. Happy customers scan, land on your Google review form in one tap, and your rating climbs. Add the 5★ review gate to route feedback the smart way.

How it works

Live in three steps.

1

Paste your review link

Drop in your Google Business review URL — we shorten it and wrap it in a branded, scannable code.

2

Brand & print it

Match your colors and logo in the Studio, download a crisp SVG/PNG, and put it where customers already are.

3

Watch reviews roll in

Every scan is logged by day, device and location, so you can see which table tent or counter card actually works.

Why a review QR code beats asking out loud

Most customers are happy to leave a review — they just never get around to it. Typing your business name into Google, scrolling past the map, finding the 'write a review' button: every step loses people. A QR code collapses all of that into a single scan while the good experience is still fresh.

Put the code where the moment happens: the bottom of a receipt, a counter card by the till, a sticker on the package, a table tent at the end of a meal. The closer the code is to the peak of the experience, the higher your scan-to-review rate.

Because QRs.bd codes are dynamic, you can change where the code points without reprinting. Switch from your Google form to a Facebook or Trustpilot page during a campaign, then switch back — the printed code never changes.

The 5★ review gate, explained honestly

Our optional review gate asks customers how their experience was first. Five-star experiences go straight to your public Google review form. Anything lower is invited to send private feedback to you instead — so you hear about problems before they become public, and you fix them.

A note on policy: Google's guidelines prohibit 'review gating' that selectively suppresses negative public reviews. Use this feature to route private feedback and improve service — not to block unhappy customers from reviewing you. Used the right way it lifts your average because more of your genuinely happy customers actually follow through.

You stay in control: the gate is off by default, and you decide exactly where each path leads.

Know which placement actually works

Guesswork is expensive. With real-time analytics you can give each location its own code — front counter, drive-through bag, email signature — and see which one drives the most scans. Double down on the winners, drop the dead weight.

You'll see scans by city, device and hour, so a multi-location café or franchise can compare branches at a glance and roll the best-performing placement out everywhere.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?

Find your Google Business 'write a review' link (Business Profile → Ask for reviews), paste it into QRs.bd, brand the code in the Studio, then download and print it. The whole thing takes under two minutes.

Is the review QR code free?

Yes. You can create and download a static review QR code for free. Dynamic codes (re-point after printing), the 5★ review gate and scan analytics are on the Pro plan.

Does review gating break Google's rules?

Selectively hiding negative public reviews violates Google's policy. Our gate is designed to route private feedback to you and encourage happy customers to post publicly — not to suppress honest reviews. Use it to improve service, not to censor.

Can I change the destination later?

Yes — dynamic codes let you re-point the same printed QR to a new URL anytime, with no reprint. Swap between Google, Facebook or Trustpilot whenever you like.

Can I track how many people scanned?

Yes. Every scan is logged in real time by day, device and approximate location, so you can see which placement drives the most reviews.
